Question of the week: What Do You wish To Accomplish?

Remember when you were a child and got a gold star on your chart? Didn't it just make your day?
Maybe it is time to make ourselves a chart for what we have accomplished.
We might just realize that we are doing much better than we think that we are.
Here are a few things that I have successful accomplished over the last few weeks:
  1.  Having my first review and giveaway with CSNStores . It was huge success:)
  2.  Not having a nervous breakdown when BOTH of my vehicles went on the fritz and  ate up what little savings I had.
  3. Preventing a household war. Easy E accidently broke DD's school project. It was a toothpick bridge. DD was more than just upset at having to start over. (definitely worth more than 1 star)
  4.  Keeping up with the laundry and keeping the house clean and organized. This is a difficult task for me but the showers are still sparkling clean! Woot!
  5.  Turning 29 again and having a fabulous DiGiorno's House Party to celebrate.
  6. Getting on the back of a Harley Davidson in celebration/memory of my Dad. It was the ride of a lifetime!
  7. Making it through my Goddaughter's baby shower w/o ruining it. Her grandfather was my dad's best friend. Once we saw each other, we hugged and cried. Also knowing that my sister would never have this day, really hurt. However I had to focus on the joy of soon having a new "nephew" to hold in my arms.
  8. Taking a twitter break. We all know how much I love tweeting. However I took some time off and spent time playing board games and watching movies with my family.
  9. Getting out of the house. I can be a total hermit. One of my dear friends is in town and we have gone to lunch twice! Woot!
  10. Shopping.. I had a $25 Macy's gift card. I planned on using it for the kids. However I really needed some new shorts. So I did the unthinkable. I shopped for myself and didn't feel  guilty!
There are many things that I still wish to accomplish. I would love to do more reviews and giveaways. I have 3 books that are calling me to read them.  My van (that was just fixed) started spewing fluid and smoke the other day. I have to make a decision. Do I sink more money into it? Or just let it go? As I write this, my refrigerator is whining. Not only is it nearly empty, it is also continually going into defrost mode. How do I fix this? My children want to know what we are doing for Easter. I have no idea. My lotto ticket wasn't a winner, so I guess I won't be donating to my favorite charities and becoming the next Percy Ross
At least not this week. Yet I am not going to worry about these things. I am going to be happy and grateful for all that I have done. Bring on the gold stars! Now it is your turn. Tell me something you have accomplished!

Welcome to my first House Party ! We celebrated my birthday with the fabulous Digiorno's
Their newest pizzas include breadsticks and dipping sauce. All in one box! You can cook the breadsticks and the pizza at the same time. So everything is served hot & delicious. I received the following in my Digiorno's Champion House Party Kit:
6 Coupons for FREE pizza/breadstick combo
15 Coupons for $4 off pizza/breadstick combo ( every family received 2 coupons each)
1 Supreme Pizza Cutter
15 Party Necklace/ Beads (all the kids loved these & our celebrity look alike Mr T)
1 Referee Apron (how do I look in it?)
 1 Refrigerator Magnet/Clip
16 Drinks Coasters (we used them for a prize drawing as party was outdoors)
 2 Trivia Table Tent Cards
1 Basketball "Hoop" Beverage Can Game

All of my party guests loved the Digiorno's Pizza and breadstick combos. Especially the breadsticks. They were gone in a heartbeat. Although it was close, the pepperoni pizza beat out the cheese & supreme. However, only by a few slices. While the kids played basketball, the adults played pool and just relaxed enjoying the Florida Sunshine.  Food, Fun, Family & Friends!
It was a great way to celebrate turning 29 again.
I highly recommend the newest additions to DigiornosPizza! So be on the lookout at your local stores.
Also if you would like to try DiGiornos or another great product.
Sign up to be a host and a have your own House Party !
Be sure to to let them know that LissaL sent you their way. Also don't forget to add me as a friend. Who knows? Maybe I might show up at your door when you host your first party! Woot!

Three copies of The Happy Book  have been traveling all across the globe. Sooner or later we will all get a chance to write our happy thoughts in the book and forward it on it's way.
Even if it is not our turn yet, each week blogger's share what makes them happy.

My family makes me Happy and keeps me going. Here are a few photos:
My husband. we've been together over 20 years and he still rocks my world. He always tells me how much he loves me and that I am beautiful. He appreciates my quirks, sense of humor and my thrifty side. He even doesn't mind my "Bling Bling' shirt that I paid 50 cents for BRAND NEW!

My children. All together & dressed up for a family photo.
This picture was taken when my nephew got married last  year.
Maybe we can get another photo done w/o the glasses!

My mom is the most courageous, compassionate woman  that I have ever known.
This picture was taken in December when we went to see Lisa Williams show.

My little brother.  I love spending time with him and knowing that we are there for each other.
A couple of weeks ago he manned the grill while his wife (who doesn't like to be photographed & is one of my BFF's) hosted a fabulous party. We had a wonderful time.

My guardian angels.
Daddy & Little Sissy aka "Baby Brat"
Forever a part of my family.
Forever loved and missed.

I hope that everyone has a wonderful family like I do.
There are many more members in my family tribe.
Hopefully I can share more photos as the Happy Chapter Fridays continue.
Have a wonderful week and don't forget to BE HAPPY:

This weeks question;
What Do You Wish To Take a Break From?

Although I tend to be a positive person, I am human. Therefore,I wish to take a break from Worry.
Both of my cars broke down a couple of weeks ago. We managed to get them both fixed however they are not working as they should. I feel like I have invested in  two sinking ships. My husband travels 90 miles to work each day and I need to know that he can get to and from work safely. I also need a car to pick up my kids from school, etc. It is so frustrating having to worry whether the car is going start or
if today is the day that it is permanently in park.
Also I have strained my back. I am pretty sure it was because I vigorously cleaned both bathrooms last weekend. Now I am paying the price. It is my hope that with a little rest, I can avoid a doctor's visit.

Also there are friends of mine that are hurting. Some physically, with chronic medical issues. Others emotionally. including two friends that just lost their adult children.  My heart aches for them.

So if you could send some healing vibes in my direction, it would be most appreciated.

I am so thankful for my wishcasting friends.
I cannot believe that it has already been a year since I joined this fabulous group.
Have a wonderful week.
Peace,Love & Light

I can't believe another year has gone by so fast. It seems like only yesterday I was 29 for the first time. Now we are only a few days from  The Ides of  March and I will be turning 29 AGAIN! This  has been going over for over 10 years. I have to tell you that 29 always feels great. To top it off I just realized that after a year of blogging, I finally have over 100 posts. WooHoo! Time to celebrate  with a giveaway at The Lily Pad!
Two of my favorite things in the whole world are
Frogs  and being a Mother
So of course I had to come up with something special for all of the moms-to-be, new  moms or dads and caregivers out there. Fortunately I didn't have to look far.
I had  a huge selection to choose from at CSN Stores.
They have fabulous Kids Bedding, Childrens Toys, and Baby Gear.
Since I have quite a few friends that are trying to conceive, are pregnant, just had babies or are new grandparents, I am so grateful that CSN Stores gave me this opportunity to review a great product and give one away as well.
It has the cutest frog design and comes with:
A Tummy Time frog pillow, mirror, a washable, padded mat, teethers, a squeeze horn. and case to carry it in.
It was so easy to set up. I just unsnapped the case and pulled it out and set it on the floor. When finished, I just folded it in half and it fit perfectly back in the case. It was so nice not having to fold it numerous times or roll the mat up into a ball to  fit in the case.  It is so cute and portable and would be great for those parents on the go.

I know that my friend Lana thinks that it is great. Here are pictures of her, 2 month old baby Vivi.
Baby Vivi just loved staring at the frog and herself in the mirror.

Now it is Tiny Love Tummy  Giveaway Time!

This week JAMIE wants to know:
What do you wish to make time for?

1. Journaling- Usually I journal, meditate & have prayer time in the afternoons. I go over to my mom's house while she is at work.  Since her work schedule has changed I have not  been coming over. I still pray  throughout the day however I miss my quiet time. This night owl is going to have to become a morning bird.

2. Organization- It seems as if once I get the house clean an invisible leprechaun comes in & makes a big mess! Boxes have been loaded for  our local church thrift store, but more needs to be done. I also need to do some painting, which I dread.

3. Softball- Coach and Easy E are on the Church softball team. I haven't been to one game! Shame on me!
It's just that every week they have back to back games and 5 hours on cold, hard bleachers just doesn't do it for me. Why can't they just have 1 game at a time?

4. -Hanging out with my high school friends. Many of my friends get together almost every week. They live about 45 minutes away.  I wish to join them at least once a month.  However I have been limited right now due to scheduling and my car that needs repairs.

5. - Blogging. T-Rexie crashes on a daily basis .A new computer would help. But hey! I did win a printer today via PrinterStop Maybe there is a new computer in my future as well. Woot!

6. -JOY! I  try to experience JOY every day. However I can always make time for  more!

Wishing you a wonderful week. Be sure to make time for yourself! You are worth it!
