I would love to enter but my sound on my comp is out & I really wanted to let you know that I'm here! That being said, I do live in the desert & drip irrigation is major. It's a way to water w/o using up lots of water. Just a little bit dripped in continuously keeps the ground moistened enough to support life. Truly an amazing concept.
I like all the videos they have innovated ideas for solving some serious problems.
I really like the sniff controller and how advanced that science has gotten but wondered how exactly the Professor has it working and what happens if someone sneezes and is it afforadable

The salt water into drinkable water was interesting to me, as we have a boil order right now. I'd always taken water for granted, I won't be doing that again any time soon!
Using a computer breathing through your nose was a nice advancement for paralyzed persons.

I like the video about desalination - I feel it has a definite place in our current water situation as ONE of the tools. I am also a very strong advocate of rain water harvesting! I didn't realize that the desalinization technique came from Israel!

I love things like this - people taking things we all wonder about - or think about (drinkable ocean water) - and putting them to practice! Ingenious!

The "Sniff Controller" video was fascinating. How important that device is to someone trapped in their body! I was intrigued that it originated in Israel too.

I really like both the desalination and the drip irrigation videos...water is essential to life. It's particularly fantastic how they came up with a way to take the salt out of seawater. Thanks for posting these.

The second video about desalination is pretty interesting. Living in the Great Lakes area I/we don't think all that much about it, but when he said that desalination is the source for a majority of the worlds drinking water, I had to pause and think how lucky we are! Very cool.

Love the sniff controller. I've seen lots of ALS patients and this could really change their lives.

Desalination is something that really interests me. With the amount of water on the planet and the amount of thirsty people, desalination has the potential to help so many!
I follow your blog on GFC and subscribe to your email! I would love to win this! I think the sniffer control video was amazing! Thanks so much for the fantastic giveaway!

I loved the first video, "Growing Crops in The Desert," because I'm always amazed at the inventions and discoveries that occur by the combination of serendipity and necessity. It's amazing how a simple observation like one tree being larger than other in a row can lead to an irrigation system that can better the world. Very cool!
