This week JAMIE wants to know:

Where Do You Wish To Grow Your Confidence?

Here in Florida there is an abundance of fruit trees.
I love the fact that I  can go to Grandma's house
and pick as many oranges and grapefruit as I need.  There will always be fruit on ground. Some bruised, still green or even rotten. But I don't worry about it. They were not meant  to be. The tree is full of luscious fruit waiting for me to enjoy. This is how I would like to view myself  and my self esteem figuratively.
Instead of constantly worrying about whether or not I am the perfect mother, wife, sister, friend, aunt, grandma-to-be and writer, (Not to say about constantly wondering if I look too old, too fat, etc...) I would just like to leave the excess baggage on the ground.  Be confident in the fact that I am in the here and now.
I have been blessed to BE ME.
And just like Grandma's fruit trees, abundance awaits me.
Would anyone like a glass of fresh, squeezed juice?
Namaste

As Lissa wishes for herself, I wish for her also. I love the imagery you used here. I live in FL too and I always feel a little sad at all the trees with so much fruit and nobody picking it. But now, I think I'll look at it differently and just see the abundance in it all!

That is such a good wish. It is hard to live in abundance and not operate in scarcity. As you wish for yourself, so I wish for you, too.

what a gift to be able to pick those beautiful oranges and grapefruits! i saw something interesting this morning...that the best peaches aren't in Georgia and the best citrus isn't in Florida...because they ship the best ones to other places. hmmm...food for thought. :) as you wish for yourself, i wish for you also!

Lissa,
I love your likeness to an abundant Florida fruit tree! Since there are so few fruit trees left-of course I will delight in a nice glass of juice!
As Lissa wishes for herself, I wish for her also.

:) How many women can relate to what you are saying!! Your wish is our wish as well, spoken so beautifully. For me, it's about sinking into a comfortable feeling with all of it...just as it is...without getting lazy or stagnant.

As you wish for yourself, I wholeheartedly wish for you as well.
