Daddy was a big fan of Dolly Parton's music. However I think this version is fitting due to sad circumstances.
Four years ago today my dad left this world. He didn't win a grammy, a golden globe ,was never featured in People magazine and never trended on twitter. People will not ask do you remember where you were the day Allen died? Which in a way is sad.
He was the greatest man I have ever known.
I miss him each and every day.
He was the greatest man I have ever known.
I miss him each and every day.
So Daddy, please give lil' sis a hug and kiss for me.
Maybe come visit me in my dreams?
Maybe come visit me in my dreams?
Until we meet again.
I will always love you.
Daddy's girls are daddy's girls forever.
Daddy's girls are daddy's girls forever.

My mom died 5 months ago and I am beginning to understand that I will never stop missing her.
I realize this post is from February but a belated hug anyway.
My dad died 3 years ago. It's hard to look at my baby and know she'll never know him. *hugs* Always Daddy's Girls. :-)
