It's Wishcasting Wednesday and this week Jamie wants to know:
How Do You Wish To Nourish Yourself?

First I would like to apologize for being AWOL the last few weeks.
We had to read the good computer it's last rites after a thunderstorm.
So I have to share my computer time with 3 bored teenagers!
Also, I flew to CA to visit my son and his girlfriend to be present for their baby's ultrasound.
(Woot! My first grandchild! It's a Boy!)
I only went for the weekend. However this FL gal is  not a well seasoned traveler.
The vertigo lasted for 11 days. The best thing for my body was just to lie down.
Throw in this awful heat and humidity ( our A/C had to be repaired-UGH)
and the day to day financial stress and I have not been in a good place.
Now on to answering  the question.

Like many people, I wish to lose a little weight and be fit and healthy.
My son just got the P90X. I am going to attempt to work out with him.
It's time to nourish my body with things that are good for me.
This not only includes nutritious foods & exercise, but other things as well.
I need to spend some quality time for myself.
Time to load up on some books at the library. ( I didn't realize that True Blood was a book series-Yippee!)
Time to get out of the house and visit my friends.
Time to chase the summertime blues away and nourish myself with some
Sun and Fun!
How do plan on nourishing yourself?

For years I have suffered from Irritable Bowel Syndrome. IBS is  not something I usually talk about. Discussing my  spastic colon is definitely not appropriate for dinner table conversation. However maintaining my digestive health is important to me. Last month I had an I heart Bacteria t-shirt blog giveaway sponsored by Culturelle.  It was tremendous success. I didn't realize how much I needed to wear one of these t-shirts until I tried Culturelle Digestive Health.

Taking Culturelle at the onset of digestive discomfort will help:

  • Reduce uncomfortable gas and bloating*
  • Prevent and shorten the duration of occasional diarrhea*
  • Promote regularity*
Take Culturelle preventively:
  • To help minimize travel associated stomach and digestive issues*
  • To prevent occasional digestive upset*
  • When taking antibiotics*
  • When taken daily, Culturelle® will go beyond improving your digestive system to actually improve your immune system.
The very day I received my package of Culturelle, I happened to be experiencing an IBS flare up. Less than an hour of taking  1 capsule (ingredients: Lactobacillus GG (10 Billion Cells), Inulin, gelatin capsule. Diary Free.)
I was not no longer feeling gassy and bloated. This, quite frankly surprised me. Any natural product I have tried in the past, has not really helped. I have always had to rely on prescription medications for relief of my pain and discomfort. For a week or so I took the Culturelle Digestive Health . Then I went on a  5 day mini getaway to visit my son & his girlfriend. I flew from Florida to California. Between the day long flight, me being nervous about flying and meeting my son's girlfriend's family and trying out those good food places in CA, my tummy  was a wreck by day 3. I needed my Culturelle. I searched my bag and it was nowhere to be found. Evidently I left it on the kitchen table. Not good. To be honest I bloated up like a beach ball. The flight back to FL was not pleasant. As soon as I arrived home, I took my Culturelle Digestive Health and experienced relief. I have been to taking it every day and my tummy  and I are doing well. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is interested in maintaining their digestive health. I  definitely feel it is working for me. If you think that you may have IBS be sure to consult with a doctor. If you are interested in finding out more about Culturelle, their website is Here. You can also find them on Facebook and Twitter.

Disclosure:
Culturelle contacted me & asked me if I would like to review one of their products.
I chose the Digestive Health. All opinions are based on my experience with
this product. I received no monetary compensation for this review.

Just a quick note to my friends. I took a short trip to visit my son and his girlfriend in CA, last week. Unfortunately, I am not a well seasoned traveler. Needless to say I have been experiencing vertigo every day for the past 8 days. It is really affecting my day to day life. It is hard to focus, blog, tweet, talk & walk, when you are constantly getting dizzy spells. Hopefully I will be back to "normal"  after the weekend. I miss my bloggy, froggy, friends!
