These are the two latest photos I received from my oldest child. He is out in CA with his son and girlfriend for the summer. My son will return later on this month to finish college.(His scholarship is here) In December he will receive his Bachelors Degree. I am so proud of the man he has become. It is not easy maintaining a long distance relationship, going to school full time and being a dad. Yet, he is succeeding. It is my hope that after graduation, his little family will relocate somewhere closer. Maybe down the street? lol
California is too far away. I am missing my boys.

Coach holding our grandson for the first time! Easter 2011
I can't believe that summer is here! It seems like only yesterday our family was celebrating Easter. Our grandson was down for an entire week & we just were so overjoyed to spend time with him.My teenage daughter thought the way her dad (Coach) interacted with 'Lil BoBo" was hilarious. They definitely have a special connection. My hubby has always been great with babies & "Bubbles" just doesn't remember as she is our "baby" girl. After our joyous time with "Lil BoBo" she informed me that she was ready for a baby brother or sister. I told her to talk to God about it, as it will take some kind of miracle!The last couple of months have been hectic. You know, end of school year rush..etc. I am so glad to be free of school projects until September. Unfortunately, that means I am already hearing "I'm so bored" from my teens. lol We have gone swimming & they have also gone bowling thanks to Kids Bowl Free. I highly recommend you check it out if your kiddos are driving you crazy! It's a fun way to keep them busy & happy.
At some point I hope to make it to the beach. However, I hate fighting to find a parking space as well as wearing a swimsuit in public..lol I SO want my teenage body back:)
Anyhoooo, I have missed talking to my bloggy pals & am determined to be a better blogger! It is my hope that your summer is going well!

What Do You Wish To Tend?
It's been weeks of riding the emotional roller coaster. It seems as if one problem gets solved, another appears. Needless to say I am ready to tend to myself. Time to just let go and let God tend to the rest.
There is only so much I can do.
Anyhooooo! My grandson will be here in a few days and 'MiMiLi" is ready to give him all
the hugs and kisses I have been storing up since I last saw him in December.
I am ready to show my "Lil Bo-Bo" that some bunny loves him very, very much.

*Before surgery make sure they mark the right spot*
It's been a very busy, busy few weeks. I have not forgotten my bloggy, froggy friends
Just overwhelmed. Here's an update
Just overwhelmed. Here's an update
- My son "DD" had surgery for a torn MCL & Meniscus. He is now going physical therapy 2x a week. He is doing well, my bank account is suffering!
- We read the last rites to our 1996 Cadillac. She still looked fabulous but her engine couldn't be revived.
- We now have my beloved sister's 1999 Mazda truck. It needed 4 new tires but it runs good and gets much better gas mileage. My hubby drives 90 miles round trip to work everyday so this will help.
- I went a month w/o a washer and dryer!. Fortunately a friend at the church was moving and had an extra set. I am so thankful that I no longer have to spend a fortune at the laundromat.
- I celebrated another birthday. 29 again:)
- Every Saturday I get out on the field and play ball. I still haven't made it to first base, my legs just won't move as fast as I tell them to. I am hitting the ball though.
- My shoulder was "thrown out" so I had to visit Dr. "McDreamy" & get a cortisone shot. Range of motion is much better. Staring at the Doc helped tremendously..lol
- My Aunt & Uncle flew into town from Texas. It was great spending time with them and catching up. They treated us to dinner at Red Lobster and yes, I brought home extra cheddar biscuits!
- I gave in & colored "Bubbles" hair. It is a mahogany color. Fortunately it's not permanent.
- My cousin is due with her first baby this month. She is having a girl . The baby's name is a secret. I think Lissa is great choice:)
- Easter will soon be here and so will my grandson. Skype and photos are not enough. I miss him so much and look forward to giving him lotsa love from "MiMi Li"
