I am proud to say that we are a family united. Together we stand. With one exception.: Football.
When it comes to college football this FANMAT would describe our household perfectly.
 We are divided 3-3.

When it comes to the NFL, all six of our family members have our own  favorite team. It is not easy to find everything for everyone. In fact, I  used to hate shopping for  NFL items.  Not anymore. Wayfair  makes it easy and at  reasonable prices. No longer do I have to run around all over town trying to find something a store ultimately does not carry or wants to charge me an arm and a leg for. Giving me more time to get home and watch the game. Thanks to Wayfair  ( AKA Santa Claus) my son received

this

and this

He is absolutely thrilled with his new hat and throw. The hat fits hims perfectly.
The throw is  60x 90, extremely plush and comfortable.
I am pretty sure he would take them both to school with him if it was allowed.
(He did take them both on a 3 day trip over winter break)
He does fall sleep with them. As you can see in this photo:

And "DD" does need his sleep. Because football can be brutal. Especially when your team doesn't make it to the playoffs. In fact out of the 6 teams we root for in this family,
only 1 team has a chance of going all the way to the Superbowl this year.
That would be MY team:)
If you are looking for some great NFL or sports  items, or pretty much anything for your household ,
I highly suggest you shop at Wayfair.
I am sure that you can find something for the numerous fans in your life.
Shopping at Wayfair. is always a WIN!

Disclosure:
I was contacted by Wayfair &
given the opportunity to review the items of my choice.
All opinions are expressed in this review are my own.

Jamie's prompt question for this week is a good one! Here it is:
What do you wish for an abundance of?

HEALING

You know it's bad when the first words out of the handsome man's mouth are
" You're not looking so good"
Granted, he is my physician. At least he didn't add insult to injury by forcing me to get on that darn scale. He did send me home with presents.  I am now the proud  owner of an asthma inhaler, a bottle of "horse" pills aka antibiotics that are to be taken 4x a day and a Little Mermaid sticker. We won't discuss the financials. The men in the little white coats may need to be given my address.

We just bought a battery for my van. "Bessie" is 12 years old. (Remember 1 year  is equal to 7 when it comes to cars) Guess what? I've only driven her to the bus stop & back. Why? Because something stinks. Like sparklers. Maybe it's my imagination. Maybe every time  I drive my car I'm in a time warp & it's really the  4th of July.

Do you have a bank account? I do. I just am wondering why. These nasty little things called "Bills" are interfering with something I am supposed to have called "Savings"

Have you experienced the pain of losing someone you love? Pull up a chair and we will have some fun under the black sun on the "Grief Beach" It is pretty isolated. But I make a darn good Pina Colada. Don't bother to bring sunscreen or an umbrella. You'll get used to the pain to the point of being uncomfortably numb.

Hmmm. Missed last weeks question. Maybe this turtle stuck her head out of the shell.

I wish for an abundance of healing not only for myself, but for all.. Mind, body, spirit, soul. Within relationships, be them romantic or with friends, family or work related. Cars, Computer, appliances are included:)

Since my head feels like a football.... feel free to send some healing vibes to DA BUCS!
Sure would be nice to have a winning season.

I am apologizing in advance if I don't make it to your blog. Please know that I do wish you the best this week as in every week. But this darn infection is kicking my arse. It took me 4ever just write this post. Plus these really cute guys are at my door.........Dressed in white

12secrets
Secret 6: Conquering Saboteurs
Build Me Up Buttercup
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iol0B-clFFM
is playing in my head.
It's got a great beat. Sounds so cheery.
Yet in reality it isn't such a happy song.

Have you ever had someone put you on a pedestal only to push you off?

Or figuratively speaking , train for a year, load up your gear and
finally climb 3/4 your way up Mt. Everest. Then tell your
Sherpa that you just aren't "feeling it" the timings not "right" so you think
you will just pack it up,turn around and go home?

Ahhhh! The Mighty Gremlins.
They'll do anything to prevent you from scoring a field goal or a touchdown
in the game called life.

Doesn't matter if it is the offense or the defense.
They will do what they must.
Block, intercept, tackle.
Their goal is to destroy you.

My face has been pushed in the mud with these bad boys.
I have walked away scarred, beaten, bruised and broken.
Sat on the bench, with a towel covering my head.
The band kept on playing, the game went into overtime
and I came back and kept going.

So, now I ask of you
Will you stand still in fear , with the figurative football in your hands?

Or will you bop to the beat of your heart and get moving down the field of dreams?
